F3, A3, and C#4 are trichords (On some pianos F3 is a bichord.)

Here are the steps:

1. Play D4.
2. Play D4 3 x’s forte.
3. Play D4 again.
4. Then play F3A3, F3D4, and A3C#4.
5. The following intervals will help us investigate any errors:
   Play A3
   Play A3-D4.
