A piano technician who can’t tune is not really a piano technician but a piano tuner who can’t fix or regulate a piano is still a piano tuner. Easily 50% – 60% of tunings require no repairs or regulation. (Technicians vary in how much minor repair and regulation they choose to do for free.)
