I need you to video yourself while you are tuning the A4 DSU clean. Make sure I can see your tuning hammer.

The goal of this unit is to prove you can tune a clean and stable unison.

1. Mute the right string of A4. This creates the double string unison. (DSU)
2. Pick one of the other unmuted strings and tune it so that the DSU is clean.
3. Once the DSU is clean, play it and let it sustain for 3 – 4 seconds.
4. To test the stability, hit the key three times very loudly. (These are called test blows)
5. Play A4 again letting it sustain for 3 – 4 seconds.
