General Procedure:
- Play the top note
- Play the top note 3x’s very loud
- Play the top note again 3 seconds
- Play the M3/M10/M6/M17
- Play the bottom octave (the one that was tested by the M3/M10)
- Play the P12
- Play the top octave
- Play the 4:2 test for the top octave
Tuning F5 example:
- Play F5 for ~3 seconds
- Play F5 3x’s very loud
- Play F5 for ~3 seconds
- Play C#3-F3, C#3-F4, C#3-A#3, C#3-F5
- Play F3-F4
- Play A#3-F5
- Play F4-F5
- Play C#4-F4, C#4-F5.
You will be marked on the purity of the unisons (F5), the purity of the lower octave, (F3-F4), plus the purity of the P12, (A#3-F5), and the purity of the top octave (F4-F5).
